Falkirk started well in this vital NL2 game, and opened the scoring early on. A Stafford Dickson strike into the D was deflected by Ally Wilson. The Watson's keeper made a good block, but Michael Watson rounded the keeper and scored from close range. Watsonians came back into the game and piled on the pressure to the Falkirk goal. They got their reward through slack play at the back, Falkirk giving the ball away, but the Watsonian forward punished them, striking into the net from the top of the circle. From the restart, a Dickson aerial ball was collected by Watson, but the keeper touched the ball onto the outside of the post.
After a 'constructive ' half time talk, Falkirk came out and took the game to Watsonians, and went a head again, Watson getting his second with a low shot from 7 yards. Falkirk continued to attack, and should have got a penalty when Michael Watson was stopped from shooting by an illegal tackle. Watsonians came back into the game, and were awarded a penalty, but B Kemp made a great save to keep Falkirk ahead. Falkirk got penalty themselves moments later, but for the second week in a row, missed the chance. This spurred Watsonians on, and only more good saves from Kemp kept the local side in the lead. A long run on the right wing from John Scott saw the ball worked to Arthur Robertson, and he passed to Watson to score with a reverse flick shot from a narrow angle to complete his hat trick.
Although 2 goals ahead , the game wasn't safe until the final minutes. Dougie Nicol gathered a C Taylor pass just outside his own D. After running the length of the park unchallenged, he passed to Ally Wilson who drew the keeper before squaring to Nicol to leave him with a tap in. A good win for Falkirk and one that may keep them in the division.
The scoreline was not a surprise but nevertheless Peebles made the long trip north for this third attempt to play the game. Scores came from Stephen Sutton (4), Iain Fraser (2), Kevin Russell, James Robertson and Graham Miller (2).

This in house derby was played in better mood than their previous encounter. Derek Morrison capitalised on a penalty flick award to put the Fours in front. Barry Warner leveled the game after a spate of penalty corners.

A strong student side proved too strong for the Falkirk visitors. Falkirk's moment of glory came from a Jonathan Nugent run which saw him elude the keeper to pass to a waiting Chris Taylor who poked the ball over the goal line. Iain Forbes made a welcome return to the Club showing he had not lost his enthusiasm for the game.
A good result and two good league points for the Club's lowest eleven. Jonathan Anderson opened with a big hit from the top of the circle. Jonathan Kellar made it two after work by Anderson and young Chris Anderson. John McPherson put in good timely tackles at the back, assisted by Craig Waterson, but the goal to finish the game came from a John Galloway hit into the circle which Jonny Anderson cleverly reverse stick hit into goal.
