In another emphatic scoreline when Falkirk led by five goals the scorers were Ally Wilson (4); James Moran, Michael Watson, Stafford Dickson (2), and Arthur Robertson. A good start to the indoor season, with Stephen Egan making a most welcome return to goalkeeping duties and showing he had not lost his form of the past.
James Robertson opened the scoring slipping a short corner award in at the back post. Stephen Sutton made it two placing a neat ball in at the far corner and then after a through ball from Kevin Russell, netted his second of the day. Robertson missed a golden scoring opportunity from around a yard out, and David Jewell hit the upright. The Edinburgh side claimed a consolation score courtesy of a penalty corner award.

The Club's youngsters of the Development side still found it hard going against the Edinburgh Club despite help from some more experienced players. A good performance by the youngsters again who were unlucky not to realise a score.
Continuing their spell of disappointing results the fourth string struggled to contain the team from the lower echelons of the division. Joe Trodden and Ross Crerar looked useful but chance of doing something with this game was sadly absent.
The visitors from the Borders were unable to provide a pitch so came north only to be at the end of a punishing five-goal trouncing on the Bathgate astro. Scores from Stephen Macdonald, Brian Kemp, Chris Sim, and two from Jonathan Anderson were more than enough to settle the destination of the league points.

The game opened with the Edinburgh side looking dangerous on the breaks but finding the Falkirk back line of Douglas Smith, John McPherson and Graeme Pitcaithly in determined mood. Graeme High schoolboy Jonathan Nugent opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, and that was how it stood at the break. Midway into the second period, a long defence splitting hit from John Galloway found Andrew Claridge with only the kicking back to beat and this he did for goal number two. The hosts pulled one back in the 28th minute but this merely served to spur the Falkirk side forward and four minutes later schoolboy Scott Coventry, recently returned after a broken collar bone made it three after the help of fellow pupil Jaswinder Singh.
