There was no scoring at the interval thanks to good goalminding by Robert Thomson with some acrobatic maneuvers. The students opened, then Ross Anderson equalised from a Charles Kemp ball. The students again took the lead, and Gregor Maxwell leveled, but despite good work by Brian Kemp, Mark Stewart and Clark Whitton, the students sneaked a late winner.
