Ally Wilson opened the scoring in this friendly played at Dumbarton East Astroturf, but two scores from Clydebank put them into the lead. Michael Watson equalised before John Scott deflected a Douglas Blakeley pass into goal. Arthur Robertson scored a fourth, after Ally Wilson hit the post. The hosts pulled one back before Blakeley netted with a strike from the top of the circle. Ryan Thomson scored on the final whistle from a short corner to complete a good win.

Falkirk GHG III 2
The first of the Club's teams to make an early exit from the Cup, the 3rds came up against a strong Fife side. With good play by John Russell, Iain Cameron netted two, but some bad marking and poor passing saw Carnegie capitalise on their chances, despite an excellent performance in goal by Graeme High Schoolboy Michael Steel, whose save from a corner award was impressive.

Dundee Wanderers VI 1
The only Club side to do anything in the Cup, the fours made heavy weather over a nine man side. Wanderers opened the scoring, this shaking Falkirk to step up the pressure. Gregor Maxwell's shot hit the keeper, an a Derek Morrison shot from the top of the D was saved. In the 17th minute, Maxwell found the net, with Maxwell, Jonny Reid and Morrison combining for Morrison to claim number two. Good running by Jonny Reid saw Derek Morrison hit in a good ball with Maxwell making it four.

Falkirk GHG V 2
The Falkirk side were not too unhappy to make an early exit from the Cup given their next round would have been in Aberdeen. Chris Sim scored a good goal in the first half and turning round only 2-1 down, all was not lost. However losing three goals in quick succession saw heads go down. David Park scored a late consolation second goal.
On a wet floodlit astro at St Margarets, a spuriously strong Grange side took obvious delight in punishing a young Falkirk side from two divisions below them in the league. Falkirk tried hard and produced some good moves with Royce Lumsden and Stuart Macdonald playing well, Michael Steel in goal did his utmost but the hosts' superior firepower and experience prevailed. Gregor Maxwell scored a late consolation goal.
Two goals from short corners in the first half put the Edinburgh side ahead. Good play by Craig Waterson and Ben Brewer should have seen a score with Chris Taylor saving a corner award. Two further scores by the Edinburgh side put the result beyond doubt.
