This Sunday Reserve Plate second round tie at Titwood saw the thirds playing good interpassing hockey but the failure to put the ball away was to cost them dear. Despite good work between the uprights by Craig MacDonald, and good defending by Stuart Bell the Glasgow side took their chances and a chance to snatch a consolation score was not taken.

This Reserve Cup third round tie saw Ross Crerar open the scoring on the Linwood astroturf, picking up the ball from Ross Anderson. A second from a penalty corner award saw Derek Morrison make it two, but the Paisley side clawed their way back into the game to level, despite an off the line save by Kenneth Laird. In the ensuing Penalty Flick shoot-out, Falkirk went on to win with goals by Ross Anderson, Gregor Maxwell, Callum Taylor and Andrew Easton.
