A Neil McFadyen goal ensured a share of the Regional League points in this hard fought encounter on the astroturf at St Margaret's Academy in Livingston.

This team from Edinburgh proved much too strong this time round for the Falkirk Club who were treated to a display of skills normally seen in higher divisions. Kevin Cummings in goals spectacularly saved a penalty stroke award.

The fourth string were also treated to some silky hockey skills by the visiting Edinburgh side. Amrit Dhillon saved one off the line and nearly stopped a second.

Coming back from being 3-1 down, the Falkirk side managed to claim a share of the league points. Goal scoreres were David Park, Stephen Sutton and Andrew Woodland.

The young team from Falkirk started with ten players due to a couple of late withdrawals but held the adults from Watson's to 0-0 at half-time due to excellent goal keeping from Iain Webster in goals and defending from Gordon Anderson. The second half started where it left off with Watson's again applying all the pressure and Webster breaking their hearts. Eventually due to Falkirk dropping to nine players through illness Watson's eventually got their first due to a rebound off Webster. Watson's added another three throughout the second-half, but the accolades must go to Iain Webster in goals, Gordon Anderson in defence and Stewart Laing and Duncan Kehoe in midfield as they were outstanding.
