In their first outdoor game since
November, the local side started well, with Michael Watson's deflected effort
being saved by the Uddy keeper. The pressure eventually paid off , with Stafford
Dickson netting from a short corner to give Falkirk a deserved half time lead.
A fine S Egan save minutes into the second half preserved the lead before
Dickson made it 2 with another goal from a corner routine. Ian Fraser scored
the third, a good run and pass which saw him receive the ball back from Watson
to score. Uddingston pulled one back, before Falkirk made sure of the points
, Stevie Sutton scoring from close range before Dickson completed his hat-trick
from yet another short corner. An encouraging result for the remainder of
the season, especially the performance of Ian Fraser, whose goal topped an
excellent performance in his best game yet for the clubs top team.
