Excellent corner routines gave the Uni the edge but two goals by Gregor Maxwell, the first through the keeper's legs, and the second after a run by Ross Crerar during which he beat six players to pass to Maxwell to score. William Simpson was exceptional at the back with numerous well timed tackles to keep the scoreline acceptable.
