The long trip north to Keith Park in Aberdeen saw Falkirk return home with a share of the league points. A Stephen Sutton shot from a penalty corner award was diverted into goal by Kevin Russell, and goal line clearances by Arthur Robertson and Douglas Nicol served to deny the Granite City team the chance to go ahead.

No much can be said about this East District Division 1 league game, but when it gets to a 4pm pass back few can be sufficiently motivated at that hour. Gregor Maxwell came closest to breaking the deadlock.

A dull first half saw both sides still asleep, or so it seemed to appear. Iain Cameron had the best chances with Ben Brewer also in with a chance. The Fifers went in front courtesy of mistakes at the back, and despite an injection of new blood in the form of Russell Brown, his rocket crosses failed to find anyone able to divert one into goal. In the dying seconds of the game Iain Cameron finally cracked in the equaliser after a catalogue of missed chances.
