Falkirk GHG VI 0
This was a day for the schoolboys to show what they could do as the adults rested after a heavy weekend, for this Sunday game at Bathgate. A determined young sevens, with young Iain Webster having his first time in goal at adult level, went forward with confidence. Andrew Stevenson claimed the first, followed by Chris Anderson for number two. After the break, Anderson again found the net, with former second eleven goalie Jamie Ballantine showing his prowess in his new home outfield with the Clubs bottom team as he banged in number four. Chances were there for the sixes to do something with the game - Jonathan Nugent came close, but the difference was that the sevens made their chances and took them. A good baptism for Graeme High pupils Craig Adams in goal, Craig Callaghan, Alasdair McKerral, Scott McNeill, Steven Kane, Matthew Morley, and Alan Jenkins. At least this game showed the positive side to the Club's youth development work where there is much potential talent.
