Having missed their first appointment against bottom club MBC due to traffic problems, Falkirk completed their season with a high scoring game against 2nd placed Harris. With little at stake except pride, Harris started the stronger of the two, and took the lead before Ally Wilson and Michael Watson combined to set up Chris Anderson to score. Harris retook the lead soon after, and despite goals from Watson and Wilson, the local side trailed at the break. The second half was an end to end affair, with both teams playing some good hockey, but despite further scores from Watson and three from Wilson, Harris maintained their slim advantage going into the final minutes. With Falkirk trailing by 2 goals, they were denied a penalty corner when the far end umpire's signal for the award was ignored by the umpire that mattered, and Harris swept up the park to score again, with Falkirk complaints ringing in the umpires ears. Ally Wilson scored his fifth goal of the game before the final whistle, but Harris held on to claim the points.

The visitors from Edinburgh took an early lead, opening the scoring in the tenth minute when Falkirk's last man allowed the ball to travel into goal unimpeded as it was believed it had been hit from outside the shooting circle. Ross Connell restored the balance after fifteen minutes, and David Jewell separated the teams in the second half to swing the game into Falkirk's favour.

The visitors from Edinburgh had taken a two goal lead before Stuart Taylor pulled one back. Watsons added a third just before the break, and then the game descended into what was a less-than-friendly affair, with some physical hockey being served up. Falkirk did have their chances, with Johnathan Nugent missing an open goal, and Danny Gibney useful, while Stephen Sutton was around for most of the ten short corners that could not be converted. Falkirk simply could not finish and paid the penalty.
