This Sunday league game was played at Forresters High School in Edinburgh and the visitors from the borders went ahead from a penalty corner award. Iain Cameron levelled the game when he got onto the end of a John Galloway hit into the circle, and the second half was only one minute and eighteen seconds old when Tom Russell lying far upfield, got onto a long through ball from Derek Morrison, to put Falkirk ahead. Having added another two, Reivers did not have long to dwell on this lead when Ross Crerar netted from a penalty corner award to level the game. Falkirk did their best to hold their visitors at bay, but conceding a penalty corner in the dying minutes of the game, Reivers managed to find the way to goal to snatch the points for this league game.
