This First Round of the District Cup took the Second string the long road down the Lothian coast to the new astro facility at Meadowmill. on Sunday. The first half was evenly contested and saw the scoresheet blank at the break. The hosts went on to take a three-goal lead by the middle of the half, but Falkirk dug in and managed a goal after work by Douglas Blakeley, Gregor Maxwell was in place to score the consolation goal.
