Falkirk win 3-1 on penalties

Falkirk hosted the men from Gala in this District Plate fixture at Linlithgow Academy. Falkirk scored first through Derek Morrison following good pressure at a penalty corner; this was equalled by the visitors going in 1-1 at half time. The second half saw Falkirk again take the lead, this time from the stick of James Moran, who coolly beat a defender in the D and flicked beating the Gala keeper. Gala evened the scoring again from a short corner to end the tie even at 2-2. Penalty flicks ensued, the Falkirk keeper, Kevin Cummings saved 3 out of the 4 he faced for the home side to win 3-1.
