Eskvale are hoping to field a Mens' team and were looking for clubs to play friendlies with, so Falkirk took up the invitation and travelled to Dalkeith Community High School  for this Sunday fixture.  From the whistle, Falkirk went forward, and this mix of players from the Club's 4th and 5th strings  quickly opened the scoring with a well hit strike by David Ainsworth. Alan McDonald was there in the setting up of later scores, with Ross Dickson putting in some good crosses, but it was Chris Brodie who claimed the remainder of the tally for the day, netting 5 more scores.  William Simpson took an unaccustomed role in midfield showing his versatility, while Jamie O'Neill in goal was not given time to admire the Community School's facilities. Eskvale never gave up, but poor finishing kept them off the scoresheet, until, that is a shot hit the goalpost, rebounding back to a striker who picked his spot to give them a late consolation goal.
