The home side got off to a poor start in this Sunday fixture, conceeding from an early penalty corner, and were soon two down when a defensive lapse allowed St Andrews to convert an easy chance past Thomson from 10 yards.The home side rallied and pulled a goal back on the stroke of half time when Stafford Dickson shot high into the net following a scramble in the box after a penalty corner. Falkirk were on the front foot for most of the second half, but struggled to create any clear cut chances until the final 3 minutes, when Craig Strachan delicately lifted a ball over the stranded students keeper to earn Falkirk a share of the points.
