Falkirk started the second half of the season in the same manner as they finished the first with a comfortable victory against Carnegie. Once again Falkirk lost an early goal, but were level within a minute as Niall Stott got his first of the day. Further strikes from Stott and a double from Craig Strachan either side of half time gave Falkirk a 3-goal lead but 2 goals in a minute from the Fifers saw them get right back into the game. Stott and Strachan both completed their hat-tricks as Falkirk took control once again, and although Carnegie netted a further score, Gordon Anderson replied 2 minutes later. A second hat-trick from Stott in the final 5 minutes rounded off the scoring, and gave the final result a more comfortable look.

In what was arguably Falkirk's worst 20 minutes of the season, they finished the first half of the game against Inverleith tied at 4-all, after a Craig Strachan hat-trick and goal from Stafford Dickson was pegged back 3 times by a youthful Edinburgh side. However, after a frank half-time talk, Falkirk saw off Inverleith in a blistering 3 minute opening spell, as another Strachan hat-trick and double from Niall Stott gave them a commanding lead. Inverleith managed a further consolation score, but a magnificent seventh from Strachan was followed by scores from Gordon Anderson and Iain Fraser, before Stott completed the scoring and his hat-trick with 3 minutes to go.

Stepps once again proved to be Falkirk's toughest opposition in Glasgow, but the end result was the same as Falkirk edged an end-to-end game. Falkirk dominated the first half scoring with strikes from Craig Strachan and a Michael Watson double, with the Falkirk captain also managing a hat-trick of goal-line penalty corner stops to keep Stepps off the scoresheet. Stepps finally broke their penalty corner duck in the first minute of the second half, and grabbed a second after Niall Stott had netted once again for Falkirk. Watson completed his hat-trick of goals midway through the second half, but 2 goals in a minute got Stepps back in contention. Falkirk then also managed 2 goals in a minute, as scores from Strachan and Stott settled the nerves, and Stott completed the feat of managing a hat-trick in every match of the day in between 2 late consolation strikes.
