Falkirk got their first point of the season after a deserved draw with Harris, although once again there was a bit of disappointment at what could possibly be viewed as 2 points dropped. Over the 70 minutes, Harris had the majority of possession, but only managed to penetrate the home circle on a handful of occasions, whereas Falkirk were forced to absorb a fair amount of pressure, but continually looked to stretch the visitors by breaking quickly. Falkirk should have taken the lead from a penalty, but Dickson's effort was saved by the keeper. Robert Thomson made a good save from a drag flick penalty corner, but there was little else to trouble either keeper. Harris finally opened the scoring in the second half, when they successfully defended a Falkirk corner and broke quickly to score with a decent strike at the back post. Falkirk had a couple of good chances to equalise, but on each occasion, Watson failed to find Chris Anderson with the final pass. Falkirk did manage to draw level from their next penalty corner, when Michael Watson netted from 5 yards, and despite going down to 10 men for the final minutes, the home defence remained resolute.
