Falkirk sealed their first National League title in 8 years with a comprehensive victory over their closest challengers on the final weekend of the season. Niall Stott got the ball rolling after 30 seconds after strolling into the D and placing his shot past the keeper, before Craig Strachan got off the mark a minute later. Quasar pulled a goal back immediately, but a totally dominant first half performance saw Falkirk score 4 times without response as goals from Stott and Stafford Dickson, plus a Craig Strachan double to complete his hat-trick, gave them a commanding lead. Another double from Strachan either side of a final Quasar consolation score completed the scoring after 6 minutes of the second half, but Falkirk missed the chance to force home their advantage as the game degenerated into what could be described as a tousy affair, which took the shine off a league winning performance.

Another score for Wanderers kept them in contention, but 2 goals from Niall Stott completed his hat-trick and gave Falkirk a comfortable lead. The final scoreline was a bit tighter than it should have been as Wanderers nicked 3 goals in the last 4 minutes as Falkirk eased off, but still had enough to hold onto their perfect record.
Granite City Wanderers 6After beating ESM on their home turf, Falkirk knew the new revamped team of ESM came out firing from the start and caught a cold home side sleeping with 2 quick goals, Falkirk got level from two pemnalty corners finely despatched with a back stick rebound from Ross Crerar and a nice take from Stevie Sutton, however just on half time ESM took the lead again from another penaty corner. The second half saw better play from the GHG boys and better comunication with each other, however the long christmas break worked against the GHG boys, young Alec Mason was on fine form though with some nice control and running but wasunable to hold his own against the larger visitors, ESM's pace and fitness started to tell in the late second half and they added another 2 goals. Falkirk made it three from another short corner rebound finely struck in by Derry Barton but that ended the run.
